If it is dirty, then take the car floor mats out of the car and cleaned without damaging the car carpets. Easy and not troublesome.
  3. Car Spoiler: this is very important accessories to keep your car aerodynamics. In some new cars, these accessories have been installed, but if your car is not installed then it is advisable to install spoiler on your car. In addition to style, this spoiler is useful to you if you like to drive cars fast because it can maintain a car’s condition remained stable and reduce understeer and oversteer.

]]> http://www.setyaputra.org/2010/05/23/tips-for-your-car-accessories/feed/ 11 How to locally checks for signs of a rootkit http://www.setyaputra.org/2010/04/04/how-to-locally-checks-for-signs-of-a-rootkit/ http://www.setyaputra.org/2010/04/04/how-to-locally-checks-for-signs-of-a-rootkit/#comments Sun, 04 Apr 2010 00:07:48 +0000 SetyaPutra.Org http://www.setyaputra.org/?p=670 One tool that important for linux server to locally checks for signs of a rootkit is CHKROOTKIT.  It  contains chkrootkit: a shell script that checks system binaries for  rootkit modification;  ifpromisc.c: checks if the network interface is in promiscuous  mode; chklastlog.c: checks for lastlog deletions; chkwtmp.c: checks for wtmp deletions; check_wtmpx.c: checks for wtmpx deletions (Solaris only);  chkproc.c: checks for signs of LKM trojans;  chkdirs.c: checks for signs of LKM trojans;  strings.c: quick and dirty strings replacement;  chkutmp.c: checks for utmp deletions.

Chkwtmp and chklastlog *try* to check for deleted entries in the wtmp and lastlog files, but it is *not* guaranteed that any modification  will be detected. Aliens tries to find sniffer logs and rootkit config files. It looks  for some default file locations — so it is also not guaranteed it  will succeed in all cases.

Chkproc checks if /proc entries are hidden from ps and the readdir system call. This could be the indication of a LKM trojan. You can  also run this command with the -v option (verbose).

How to Install

  1. Login to your server as root. (SSH)
  2. Down load the chkrootkit.
  3. Type: wget ftp://ftp.pangeia.com.br/pub/seg/pac/chkrootkit.tar.gz
  4. Unpack the chkrootkit you just downloaded.
  5. Type: tar xvzf chkrootkit.tar.gz
  6. Change to new directory
  7. Type: cd chkrootkit*
  8. Compile chkrootkit
  9. Type: make sense
  10. Run chkrootkit
  11. Type: ./chkrootkit

If it says “Checking `bindshell’… INFECTED (PORTS: 465)”
This is normal and it is NOT really a virus.

Many cars, from drag racers to sports cars to monster trucks carry different kinds of spoilers on them. Some cars, like the Ferrari F1 cars, have them front and back. So what is a spoiler and why we have to choose the right one for our car ?

A spoiler is an aerodynamic accessory designed to improve the airflow over a vehicle for better traction and faster speed. Many cars have spoilers to increase their grip on the road. Normally the weight of a car is the only thing that forces the tires down onto the pavement. Without spoilers, the only way to increase the grip would be to increase the weight, or to change the compound the tire was made out of. The only problem with increasing the weight is that it doesn’t help in turns, where you really want to grip. All that extra weight has inertia, which you have to overcome to turn, so increasing the weight doesn’t help at all. The way the spoiler works is like an airplane wing, but upside down. The spoiler actually generates what’s called ‘down force’ on the body of the car.

Many sport cars today come with car spoilers already installed. Even sport utility vehicles (SUVs) have car spoilers, attached above the rear window at the top of the rear door. Aftermarket car spoilers are also available for trucks, attached to the back of the cab. A car with a car spoiler stands out and it looks like an exciting performance car.
