i am using both Bing and Google and i think both search engines give relevant search results. i would still prefer Google though, because it gives a little bit more relevant search results than Bing.

I m sure Bing of microsoft won't be able to compete Google's SE, since Google as a SE has dominated market since when internet was implemented, so it will be very tough for Microsoft to kick Google

It is going to be difficult for Bing to take the market share from Google, but it is great for the consumer to have the option to use an alternative search engine.

We have see a lot of 'google killers' and I think this time Microsoft has finally nailed it and has managed to be worthy competitor to Google. With Yahoo deal they have already become official number 2 (leaving youtube behind) ;-) I don't know when they will start promoting Bing as an SEM destination, but I guess it's only a matter of time.

On one hand, going after Google will be hard work. That said, recent statistics have shown that Bing's share of the search market jumped by 1%. This figure might not seem like a lot but when you consider the billions of searches running every day it's a pretty big number. True, this jump may well be a result of the MicroHoo deal but it could also be users looking for different results as Bing seems to be more focussed on sales rather than pure search. Only time will tell who the winner will be.

Interesting post. This reminds me when at a time, Google was powering Yahoo results long ago. Now it will be Bing doing the same thing. Bing search results are very good, so I believe Yahoo will have amazing search engine result pages(SERPs) as well. Bing itself is already being a great source of traffic for many websites and starting to become more and more popular. The future of search engines battle would be very epic indeed.
